Your Amherst Party Bus With Popular Amenities
For groups that want the celebration to start before the first stop, a 15- to 50-passenger party bus is the right fit — full-length bar, color-changing LED lighting, a Bluetooth sound system built for a night out, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating. Sprinter limos and Sprinter vans work well for smaller groups, with available leather seating, individual reading lights, USB charging at every seat, and tinted windows for privacy on the ride from Amherst to downtown Buffalo. Full-size charter buses bring reclining seats, climate control, onboard restrooms, WiFi, power outlets, and undercarriage luggage bays — everything your group needs for a longer haul to Rochester or a stadium day at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

Amherst Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Getting everyone to Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) (4200 Genesee St, Cheektowaga, NY 14225) as a group is one of those logistics puzzles that sounds simple until it isn’t — especially when the flight leaves at 6 AM and you have twelve people coming from different streets across Amherst and Williamsville. BUF is about 10–12 miles southwest of central Amherst via I-990 South, typically a 15–20 minute ride off-peak. Commercial buses pick up on the lower level curbside outside baggage claim; have your full group assembled with luggage before signaling, since the curbside lanes move quickly at BUF.
For larger groups flying in for a wedding block or a corporate conference, a full-size charter bus with undercarriage luggage bays handles the gear and gets everyone from the curb to your Amherst hotel in a single trip instead of multiple rideshare runs. Read the full BUF shuttle guide for group pickup details specific to each terminal, and call 716-647-4700 to set up your Amherst airport transfer!

Amherst Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Amherst is a great staging point for a bachelorette night that bounces between a few different scenes — and the right party bus keeps the whole crew together from the first stop to the last. Start with dinner along Williamsville’s Main Street restaurant corridor, then head into downtown Buffalo for the night. The Allentown neighborhood and the Elmwood Village both have strong bar scenes, and the 15–20 minute run from Amherst to downtown via I-990 is easy when the LED lighting is already going and the playlist is already running onboard.
No one has to worry about navigating back from a late night out on Chippewa Street. A 15- to 30-passenger party bus is usually the right fit for a bachelorette crew, and the built-in bar, LED lighting, and sound system mean the celebration starts the moment everyone boards in Amherst. Call 716-647-4700 now to compare bachelorette party bus options and get started!

Amherst Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus pickup is one of the most memorable ways to kick off a milestone birthday — and for Sweet 16s and quinceañeras in Amherst, it sets the tone before the venue even comes into view. Birthday party buses seating 15 to 50 are available through the network, and you can request specific exterior colors to match your theme or décor. Whether the evening heads to a banquet hall on Transit Road, a private event space in downtown Buffalo, or a venue-hopping night across Erie County, buffalopartybuscompany.com can match you with the right bus and the right package.
For adult milestone birthdays — a 30th or 40th with a big crew hitting the Elmwood Village bar scene or a rooftop spot downtown — a party bus keeps every guest together and takes the logistical pressure off the birthday person entirely. Use the online quote tool to check availability, or call 716-647-4700 to talk through your options!

Amherst Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Two of the region’s biggest concert venues are within easy reach of Amherst — and both come with parking situations your group doesn’t want to navigate on their own. Darien Lake Amphitheater in Darien Center draws summer crowds roughly 35–40 miles east of Amherst along US-20, where getting out of the lot after a sold-out show can back up for 45 minutes or longer. A party bus from Amherst arrives together, waits nearby during the show, and is ready to roll when the encore ends.
For Artpark in Lewiston — about 25 miles north near Niagara Falls — the outdoor amphitheater holds up to 10,000, and Lewiston’s compact village streets get overwhelmed fast after a big crowd pushes out.
Check the Darien Lake concert bus guide and Artpark group transportation guide for venue-specific drop-off details. For Shea’s Performing Arts Center on Main Street in Buffalo, the Shea’s concert bus guide covers pre-theater timing and curbside drop-off. Call 716-647-4700 to compare Amherst concert transportation options for your date!

Amherst Corporate Event Transportation
The University at Buffalo’s North Campus is one of the largest SUNY campuses in the system, and it generates significant event traffic year-round — conferences at the Center for the Arts, executive retreats, and multi-building campus shuttles that cover a sprawling 1,350-acre campus along Millersport Highway. Add the I-990 corridor’s office parks and the Transit Road commercial strip, and Amherst handles a serious volume of corporate group transportation needs on any given week.
A 15- to 35-passenger minibus is the right pick for shuttling a team from Amherst hotels to a conference at the Buffalo Convention Center downtown — about 15 miles via I-990 South. For larger company outings, employee appreciation events, or multi-day conference shuttles, a full charter bus handles the whole group in one run and skips the coordination headache of managing a fleet of rental cars. Compare options and call 716-647-4700 to set up your corporate shuttle!

Amherst Private Event Transportation Services
A private charter bus, party bus, or minibus rental keeps a large group on one itinerary without the coordination headaches. Family reunions, church retreats, milestone anniversary parties, and large birthday gatherings all move more smoothly when everyone is on the same vehicle instead of scattered across a caravan of personal cars.
Amherst groups heading to Canalside for the summer concert series or Buffalo RiverWorks for a private event get the added benefit of avoiding downtown Buffalo’s limited event-night parking. The National Buffalo Wing Festival (August 29–30, 2026, at Sahlen Field — moving to a late-August date for the first time this year) and the Taste of Buffalo on Delaware Avenue are two annual events where parking becomes genuinely difficult and rideshare pricing spikes hard after the crowds push out. Plan your private shuttle well in advance for either one, and confirm your date as soon as your headcount is set.
Call 716-647-4700 to get started!

Amherst Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Amherst — covering Williamsville Central, Amherst Central, Sweet Home, and other WNY school districts — hits its peak in late April and May, and that window is the single busiest stretch of the year for party bus rentals across Erie County. High schools across the region hold proms within about a four-week window, and the fleet thins out fast. For prom: plan by January or expect higher pricing and limited vehicle choices.
A typical 6-hour prom rental for 20–30 students — school or home pickup, a photo stop at Ellicott Creek Park or Delaware Park in Buffalo, venue drop-off, and a return trip — might run $1,500–$2,000 all-inclusive when planned months ahead, but significantly more if you wait until April. Example pricing to give you a sense of planning costs, not a locked-in quote. buffalopartybuscompany.com makes comparing buses simple so you can confirm your vehicle, pickup plan, and itinerary well before prom night. Call 716-647-4700 to compare your options side by side!

Amherst School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones appreciate buffalopartybuscompany.com for school field trip transportation because comparing buses and getting a quote is fast, and help is one call away for logistics. Whether it’s a local trip to the Amherst Museum (3755 Tonawanda Creek Rd, Amherst, NY 14228), a UB campus tour for a Williamsville Central prospective-student group, or a run to the Buffalo Museum of Science (1020 Humboldt Pkwy, Buffalo), a charter bus keeps students and teachers together and removes the carpooling puzzle entirely.
Private charter buses for school groups bring TV screens and a PA system for in-transit communication, overhead storage for backpacks and lunch bags, and undercarriage bays for larger equipment. ADA-accessible buses are available through the network — just mention it when you request your quote. With one quick call to 716-647-4700, buffalopartybuscompany.com makes it easy to request the right bus size, confirm your pickup plan, and keep your educational day moving on schedule!

Amherst Sporting Event Transportation
Bills fans in Amherst know the drill: getting to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park means I-990 South to I-90 West, a roughly 20-mile run that backs up badly on game days as the stadium approaches. The new Highmark Stadium — which opened June 23, 2026 with 60,108 seats and a canopy covering more than 60% of the bowl — draws some of the loudest crowds in the NFL, and the surrounding lots fill well before kickoff on a cold December night. A charter bus rental from Amherst means your whole group tailgates together from the moment the bus leaves your neighborhood, and nobody makes the post-game I-90 crawl alone at 11 PM.
For Sabres games and concerts at KeyBank Center, a party bus keeps the energy going the whole way into downtown. Check the Highmark Stadium group bus guide and KeyBank Center transportation guide for venue-specific drop-off and lot details. Call 716-647-4700 to get started before the season fills up!

Amherst Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
A wedding shuttle from Amherst keeps your guests on schedule between hotel blocks, ceremony venues, and reception sites without anyone having to navigate unfamiliar roads after a few glasses of champagne. Williamsville has several well-known reception venues along Transit Road and the Main Street corridor, and downtown Buffalo hosts larger events at the Hotel at Lafayette, Statler City, and waterfront venues near Canalside.
Coordinating guest pickups from an Amherst hotel block to a reception venue downtown — a 15–20 minute run via I-990 South — is straightforward when a single minibus or charter bus handles the route on a set schedule. Nobody in your wedding party navigates Allentown one-way streets after dark, and out-of-town guests don’t get stranded without a way back to the hotel after midnight. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo also makes the perfect bridal party vehicle for the ceremony day itself. buffalopartybuscompany.com makes it easy to compare options and confirm clear pickup windows for your wedding day — call 716-647-4700 to start planning!

Amherst Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Western New York’s wine country runs along the Niagara Escarpment just north of Amherst — the Niagara Wine Trail USA covers a stretch of vineyards 20–40 miles from Amherst through Lockport, Newfane, and the Lake Ontario shoreline. A winery tour bus rental from Amherst lets your group hit three or four stops along the trail — Freedom Run Winery in Lockport, Becker Farms in Gasport, and others along Lake Road — without anyone taking a turn behind the wheel between tastings.
For groups that want to stay closer to home, Williamsville’s Main Street restaurant and bar corridor makes a solid starting point for a pub crawl, with a short bus ride into the Elmwood Village or Allentown in Buffalo for the later stops. Your group stays together at every venue, no one gets separated, and the night ends exactly when you want it to — not when the weather or the surge pricing makes it too inconvenient to wait. Call 716-647-4700 to put together your tour itinerary!

What size bus does my group need?

When is the busiest time to rent a party bus in Amherst?
The single busiest period for party bus rentals in Amherst and across Erie County is prom season — late April through May — when multiple school districts hold their proms within the same four-week window. Bills home games at the new Highmark Stadium drive high demand from September through January. University at Buffalo’s graduation weekend in May creates a second spring surge, and the National Buffalo Wing Festival (August 29–30, 2026) fills local buses fast as well.
Plan at least 3–6 months out for any of these dates to secure your vehicle and your best price.
Can I rent a bus for a University at Buffalo event?
Yes — UB’s North Campus in Amherst hosts graduation ceremonies, athletic events, academic conferences, and campus tours that regularly require group transportation. Charter buses and minibuses access campus through entrances off Millersport Highway (NY-263) and Main Street. Contact UB Transportation and Parking Services through the official UB transportation page before your visit to confirm current bus access and staging for your specific event.
A 15–35 passenger minibus covers a small campus tour group; a 56-passenger charter bus handles large conference shuttles between Amherst hotels and campus buildings.
Popular Amherst Party Bus Destinations
An Amherst party bus itinerary can take your group anywhere across Western New York, and the region has no shortage of destinations worth the trip. Here are some of the most popular spots Amherst groups travel to for events, celebrations, and nights out.

University at Buffalo North Campus
The University at Buffalo North Campus (12 Capen Hall, Buffalo, NY 14260) spans roughly 1,350 acres in Amherst along Millersport Highway and is the largest campus in the SUNY system. Group bus trips here most often involve May graduation ceremonies at Alumni Arena, campus tours for prospective students, athletic events, and conferences at the Center for the Arts. Individual car parking on campus during graduation weekend is essentially impossible — permit lots fill by early morning and the surrounding neighborhood streets become gridlocked by mid-morning.
A chartered bus removes that entire variable. For current bus access and staging specific to your event, check with UB Transportation and Parking Services through the official UB transportation page before your visit.

Highmark Stadium (Buffalo Bills)
The new Highmark Stadium (1 Bills Drive, Orchard Park, NY 14127) opened June 23, 2026, replacing the old facility across the street with a 60,108-seat venue featuring a canopy covering more than 60% of the bowl. The first regular-season game was September 17, 2026 against Detroit. From Amherst, the stadium is roughly 20 miles south via I-990 and I-90.
Game-day traffic on Abbott Road and the I-90 approach clogs up well before kickoff, and the post-game crawl out of the lots can last 45 minutes or longer on a cold January playoff night. A charter bus from Amherst keeps the tailgate rolling from your neighborhood to the lot. Visit the Highmark Stadium group bus guide for current lot assignments and drop-off details before game day.

KeyBank Center
KeyBank Center (1 Seymour H Knox III Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203) is Western New York’s largest indoor arena at 19,070 seats — home to the Buffalo Sabres and a major stop for national touring concerts. From Amherst, it is about 14–16 miles southwest via I-990 South into downtown Buffalo near the Canalside waterfront. Post-event traffic around the arena and the Skyway approach can get slow on sellout nights, and surface parking near the venue fills quickly on big shows.
A party bus from Amherst drops your group steps from the entrance and picks everyone up at a pre-arranged spot after the final horn — no hunting for your car at midnight in a cold downtown garage. Read the KeyBank Center group transportation guide for drop-off specifics and event-night logistics.

Canalside & Buffalo Waterfront
Canalside (44 Prime St, Buffalo, NY 14202) is Buffalo’s main waterfront entertainment district, hosting outdoor concerts, festivals, the Taste of Buffalo on Delaware Avenue, and events at Buffalo RiverWorks just up the Buffalo River. From Amherst, it is about 15 miles via I-990 South. Summer festival weekends — particularly the Taste of Buffalo and the Wing Fest — turn downtown parking into a serious challenge, with lots filling hours before events begin and street parking metered or permit-only across most of the surrounding neighborhoods.
A bus drops the whole group at the waterfront at a set time and returns when you are ready, which completely sidesteps the post-festival scramble. See the Canalside group bus guide for waterfront drop-off details and what to expect during major events.

Artpark (Lewiston, NY)
Artpark (450 S 4th St, Lewiston, NY 14092) brings national touring acts to an outdoor amphitheater with capacity up to 10,000 on the rim of the Niagara gorge, plus a Mainstage Theater for smaller performances. From Amherst, Lewiston is roughly 25 miles north — about 30–35 minutes via I-990 North and the Robert Moses Parkway. The village of Lewiston is small and walkable, which sounds great until 10,000 people all try to leave the same parking lot at 10:30 PM.
Post-show departures along Center Street and the Parkway back up significantly. A bus from Amherst drops your group at the Artpark entrance and handles all the post-show navigation while your group takes in the gorge views after the last song. Check the Artpark group transportation guide for current venue access and concert-night logistics.

Sahlen Field (Buffalo Bisons)
Sahlen Field (1 James D. Griffin Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203) is downtown Buffalo’s minor league ballpark, home to the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons and the venue for the 2026 National Buffalo Wing Festival (August 29–30 — notably moving away from Labor Day weekend for the first time in the event’s 24-year history due to a Bisons scheduling conflict). From Amherst, it is roughly 15 miles via I-990 South. The Wing Festival draws massive crowds to a relatively compact downtown area, and event-night parking fills fast while rideshare pricing spikes once the crowds push out.
A bus from Amherst gets your group in and out for one flat rate with no parking fee and no end-of-night surge. Read the Sahlen Field group bus guide and the Wing Festival transportation guide for details on both.
